Comments about surfing Mal Pais: "It's a great place to surf any time of the year because we pick up any swell direction. The general shape of the waves are good and more often than not, peaky. There's a beach break for lower tides and the other beach is better at higher tide, so you can surf all day. The overall conditions are good, nice winds, and not a lot of blow out days.
