Dear Murray, I am missing Mal Pais already!!! Just a quick note to say that I got back safely, albeit rather delayed by snow at JFK. Rather surreal really, a few hours before I had been cooking in Costa Rica! London is chilly and grey. I can hardly believe that you are all still lying on the beach....Enjoy!!! Murray, it was so nice to get to know you and Marian over the last couple of weeks. You are really rather inspirational, and I shall think of you both in Mal Pais every time the rat race gets too much for me, and dream of joining you!! Hi Murray, I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for all of your help over our vacation. Mum, Dad, Liz and I all had a WONDERFUL time! Mal Pais IS paradise!! Murray: I just got the confirmation letter form the rental car company. Thanks. Without your help, I don't know how we would have been able to pull this trip off. Dear Murray and Marian, We have much to thank you for. This vacation has simply been a dream come true. The combination of the remote beach, and luscious rainforest surrounding your beautiful house is pure alchemy of the highest kind. It was absolutely Magical, a true paradise. We have both experienced transformations of mind, body and spirit during those brief, yet expansive three weeks. Hopefully, we will be able to integrate back into that faraway world we come from, and resume our daily responsibilities. If not, please be warned, we shall return! We got back just fine. There was no problem getting to Tambor. I was so sad to leave Mal Pais and you and Marianne. You guys are really special and I am so glad we had a chance to spend time together. The first couple of nights back in SF, I woke up thinking I was still there! We are having our annual Halloween party on Wednesday and we have a show on Monday. Love to you both. Elizabeth and Charles |
